Al Sadd extends Cazorla contract for one more season

Santi Cazorla will stay at Al Sadd until 2023. With the 37-year-old midfielder extending his contract with the Qatari club for another season.

Qatari club Al Sadd confirmed via club Twitter on Sunday. The extension of Santiago Cazorla’s contract ufabet for one more season until the summer of 2023. According to Mundo Deportivo.

The 37-year-old ex-Spain midfielder Cazorla joined from Villarreal in the summer of 2020 and is a key player in the Qatari team. The club will extend the contract for an additional year after the original one that expires this summer. 

‘Santi Cazorla has signed a one-year contract with Al Sadd until 2023,’ the club’s official Twitter account confirmed.

He will also extend the contract of Brazilian midfielder Rodrygo Tabata, 41. For an additional season. With both Cazorla and Tabata joining former right-hand man Juanma Liyo. Guardiola, who was drawn as the new coach this summer. 

The Spanish international Santi Cazorla has been one of the key pieces for the club to revalidate the title of the Qatari soccer league this year.
